LED Light Bulbs
We offer a wide range of LED light bulbs from OSRAM. This is high-performance lighting from the well-known and popular series: OSRAM LEDriving HL, FL, and HLT, suitable for both cars and trucks. LED lamps and therefore, LED light bulbs have become an obvious choice for many in the market, not least because they are a better environmental choice, more energy-efficient, gentler, and provide a more realistic light pattern. Additionally, LED lamps are highly resistant to vibrations, shocks, temperature variations, and are virtually maintenance-free.

WHAT IS LED?
With its low power consumption, long lifespan, and high operational reliability, the LED lamp has quickly become the obvious choice for many when it comes to lighting. These aspects also make the lamp a good environmental choice. The technology provides a natural color temperature, which is gentler on the eyes and thus creates a safer and more comfortable working environment and driving experience. LED lamps are also highly resistant to vibrations and are virtually maintenance-free. The lamp lights up quickly and can handle large temperature differences.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE LED?
There are many advantages to choosing LED auxiliary lights. For example, LED technology provides a much stronger and more energy-efficient light output than traditional halogen lamps, allowing you to see further and more clearly on the road with LED auxiliary lights. Furthermore, LED lamps have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance than halogen or xenon auxiliary lights. Another advantage of LED auxiliary lights is that they are more resistant and durable against vibrations and shocks, which also provides a better and more stable light pattern. Finally, since LED lamps are more energy-efficient, they reduce fuel consumption and thereby also reduce emissions from your vehicle.
WHY ARE LED LAMPS GOOD?
- They provide high brightness
- More energy-efficient
- Longer durability

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LED, XENON, AND HALOGEN LAMPS?
LED, halogen, and xenon are three different types of lighting used for vehicles such as cars and trucks. The difference between the various types lies mainly in how they generate light, their performance, and durability.
- Halogen Lamps: Halogen lamps are still very common in light bulbs for vehicles. A halogen lamp consists of a thin wire that heats up and emits light when it reaches high temperatures. Halogen lamps generally have lower brightness than xenon and LED lamps.
- Xenon Lamps: Xenon lamps consist of xenon gas, which is a charged gas that emits light when exposed to high voltage. Compared to halogen lamps, a xenon lamp generally has higher brightness and a longer lifespan.
- LED Lamps: LED lamps and LED light bulbs have truly taken a significant place in the market among both light bulbs and auxiliary lights. They provide the highest brightness and emit a white, cold light that offers good contrast and visibility on the road.
Your choice of lamp depends entirely on your application and personal preferences.
WHAT KIND OF LIGHT, LIGHT COLOR, AND GLOW DO LED AUXILIARY LIGHTS PROVIDE?
LED auxiliary lights usually provide a white, cold light with high brightness that can be up to three times stronger than traditional halogen or xenon lights. The light color can vary depending on the supplier and model.
LED generally provides a white and cold light with high brightness that can be up to three times stronger than traditional halogen lights. The light color can vary between different manufacturers and models, but it is usually a clear and distinct illumination that offers high contrast and good visibility on the road, especially in dark conditions. LED auxiliary lights are also energy-efficient and have a longer lifespan than other light sources.
WHICH BRANDS OF LED LAMPS DOES NORDEYE SELL?
We have a wide range of LED auxiliary lights, auxiliary light packages, LED light bars, and work lighting from many well-known premium suppliers such as NBB, BriodLights, Flextra, CAD, Lazer, and Rigid Industries.
We also have a well-sorted range of LED bulbs from OSRAM and their Ledriving series for both cars and trucks. They have long experience in innovative LED technology creation. If you need to replace a light bulb in your auxiliary light, OSRAM’s products are both durable and easy to work with.
WHAT IS HALOGEN?
The halogen lamp consists of traditional bulb technology where the supply of electrical energy starts to glow, and when the lamp is filled with halogen, the temperature rises, causing the lamp to emit a lot of light. The halogen lamp is appreciated for its warm and pleasant glow but is a poorer choice from an environmental perspective as it has a relatively short lifespan compared to xenon and LED.
WHAT IS XENON?
The xenon lamp has a glass bulb filled with xenon gas, which provides an electrical discharge that in turn causes the lamp to emit light. The xenon lamp’s glow is cooler and more realistic than, for example, the halogen lamp. Compared to halogen, xenon is also less energy-consuming, generates less heat, and has better light output and a longer lifespan.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN XENON LAMPS AND HALOGEN LAMPS?
Xenon lamps are a newer technology compared to halogen and provide a better and more pleasant light pattern for the eyes. The lamps take up less space than halogen lamps, making them more suitable for cars with limited space in the front. You can expect a better experience and a safer driving environment if you use xenon lamps instead of halogen. If you are more interested in Nordeye’s range of halogen lamps, click here.
