The purpose of your warning light or daytime running light is to warn other road users of some type of obstacle or disruption on the road, prompting them to slow down and be attentive. DIFFERENT TYPES OF WARNING LIGHTS

ROTATING WARNING LIGHTS

A very popular type of warning light for vehicles is the so-called warning light bar. It is simply a bar consisting of several lamps mounted on the vehicle, usually on the roof. STROBE LIGHTS FOR VEHICLES

For trucks and other heavy vehicles in traffic, it is common to have warning lamps of the strobe light type. Rotating warning lights or warning light bars have roughly the same function as strobe lights. The difference is that strobe lights have a flashing light. The light is intended to warn other road users of an obstacle. The obstacle could be a slow-moving vehicle or a stationary vehicle. The lamps are designed to operate for extended periods.
