WHAT IS XENON?

A xenon light bulb has a glass bulb filled with xenon gas, which produces an electric discharge that in turn makes the lamp emit light. The light from a xenon light bulb is cooler and more true-to-life compared to, for example, a halogen light bulb. Compared to halogen, xenon is also less energy-consuming, generates less heat, and has better light output and up to five times longer lifespan than halogen or LED lamps.

WHY ARE XENON LAMPS GOOD?

The xenon lamp was a revolution when it broke through, and after a few years, it became standard on more expensive cars, mainly because it provides a more pleasant light for the eyes and, especially with projecting lenses, a more even flow. Xenon could also more easily fit into low fronts, making the lamp suitable for more modern cars.

4300K emits a creamy white light color. Some cars may appear to have a bluer glow, but this is due to the price and other factors in the light bulb that create this effect or color shift due to age.

HOW DO YOU INSTALL XENON LIGHT BULBS?

Replacing xenon light bulbs is not a problem as long as you know how to do it. If you are unsure, we recommend contacting a qualified mechanic. We recommend replacing the light bulbs in pairs.

HOW DOES THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF XENON LIGHT BULBS WORK?

WHAT LAWS/REGULATIONS DO YOU NEED TO FOLLOW REGARDING INSPECTION AND XENON LIGHT BULBS?

A lifespan of up to 3000 hours for a xenon light bulbs from Osram, Philips, or Hella is quite common. When you inspect your car, the inspector goes through your high beam and low beam according to your country’s laws and regulations.
