ROTATING WARNING LIGHTS FOR ALL PURPOSES
We offer rotating LED beacons for all your vehicles. Our rotating warning lights are ECE R65-approved, and you get a standard two to three-year warranty. Thanks to the low prices, you don’t need to spend unnecessary money on a quality-assured beacon for your truck or other vehicles. All our warning lights withstand the Nordic climate and harsh external conditions. You can also use them throughout Europe. Choose our beacons when you want to alert the world around you.
ADVANTAGES OF LED WARNING LIGHTS
LED warning lights have many advantages compared to other traditional rotating lamps. LED, for instance, has a much longer lifespan and is more energy-efficient. It uses about five times less energy than alternative products. With our vehicle beacons, you can choose between different designs. We have warning lights with up to thirteen different flash patterns so that you can select the pattern that suits different conditions. LED lights also provide a comprehensive light image as they rotate 360 degrees.
VARIOUS MOUNTS FOR BEACONS
When your warning lights, also known as beacons, are rotating, it means you are visible from all directions. It is common for these warning lights to be placed on the vehicle’s roof, either with the help of a magnet or by mounting them on the roof. Beacons that you attach with a magnet to the roof usually have a connection to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket. Therefore, they are easy and convenient to connect and use.
WARNING LIGHTS WITH OR WITHOUT REMOTE CONTROL
We also have mounting kits with remote control for your warning light. With a remote control, you get a beacon with a light that can be turned on or off from a distance. This can be especially useful if you are working by or on a road or in the forest where the beacon only needs to be on when it is most critical. Of course, you will also find units where the remote control is integrated into the beacon. If you do not need a remote control, there are, of course, switches that you can turn on and off from inside the cab.
WHAT COLOR DO YOU NEED FOR YOUR BEACON?
It is important to remember that blue warning lights are only for emergency vehicles. In other words, you should use LED warning lights of a color other than blue. In Sweden, orange beacons are allowed. The warning light must be type-approved according to ECE R65 Class 1, which means that the lamp should be mounted so that it is visible at a height of 1.2 meters and fully visible in 360 degrees when you stand twenty meters from the vehicle.
STROBE LIGHT OR TRADITIONAL LAMP?
A strobe light is a type of warning light that flashes either in orange or white. It is often flat in design and can have various flash patterns as a function. Strobe lights are mounted at the front, back, or sides of the vehicle but are often used as an addition to already existing beacons or warning lights. Flashing warning lights can be used on vehicle models such as passenger cars and trucks. It is important to remember that only work vehicles are allowed to use any form of strobe light in traffic.
ECE MARKING AND PRODUCT WARRANTIES
You should only use safe and controlled LED beacons. To know if your warning light is certified and safe to use, look for an ECE marking. The ECE regulation is a system that guarantees that the lighting rules are the same throughout the EU area. Here are some of the most common ECE markings: ECE R91 – Side marker lights, ECE R6 – Turn signals, front, rear, and sides, ECE R7 – Position lights, tail lights, brake lights, ECE R23 – Reverse lights, and ECE R65 – Warning lights.
Warning lights usually come with a product warranty that varies from one to three years. It is important to carefully find out what warranties apply before you buy your light. Certified and approved products also have warranties against manufacturing defects and are not risky to use as long as you follow the instructions that come with the beacon. Additionally, LED lights have the advantage of being much more energy-efficient than incandescent bulbs. This also means that they do not get as hot.
